A collection of glamorous striped and patterned velvets are in vibrant colourings which include pink, jade, turquoise, chartreuse and ultramarine as well as elegant neutrals such as silver, stone and ivory.
All with excellent Martindale abrasion. The SAVOY THEATRE in London was built by Richard D’Oyly Carte in the late nineteenth century to be the home of the Gilbert and Sullivan operettas. The design names allude to the work of this famous collaboration. The plain MIKADO VELVET and SAVOY BRAIDS combine particularly well with these patterned velvets.
