FORTY WEST – Award winning Interior Design by Eklego Design, Cairo, Egypt.
Eklego Design had the pleasure of working with  leading Egyptian developer SODIC to design and decorate the interiors of the Forty West Apartments in West Cairo.

Eklego Design developed three unique signature apartment styles, Modern Islamic, Urban Chic and Natural Zen.

Osborne & Little is delighted to have product selected for these beautiful interior schemes.

The Urban Chic style features a classic colour scheme inspired by the sandy desert landscape of Egypt. Eklego Design used Osborne & Little's Karavansara, KOLAM fabric as a point of reference for the colour scheme of the apartment; aqua blue, mixed with chocolate brown in adominant scheme of cafe au lait beiges, with highlights of pearl. NIZAM, a beautiful embroidered fabric, also from Osborne & Little's Karavansara collection was used in the Modern Islamic scheme, a palette based on contrast, and featuring re-interpretations of Islamic designs, the choice of patterns is eclectic, ethnic meets modern, and was were chosen to appeal to a well-travelled, cultured family. The overall colour scheme of the apartment is light taupe with accents of lilac and peacock.
