O&L Stories: Creating an Image
This season we introduce the PALM HOUSE wallpaper - a charming three-panel mural featuring the intricate architecture of a glasshouse and the rich variety of botanicals housed within.
Following Osborne & Littleās tradition for creative marketing images, the display team chose to photograph the wallpaper on location at the Horniman Museum in South London, Forest Hill https://www.horniman.ac.uk/
One of the Horniman's standout architectural features is the Victorian glass conservatory. This wonderful space offered the perfect setting for our temperate house wallpaper. The O&L display team set to work on blurring the lines between product and the real world.
The PALM HOUSE wallpaper was installed inside the conservatory, and a forest floor of bark and tropical plants were laid out in front of the mural, as well as trailing vines from above. The final 'forest' holds over 50 plants, and 50 individual leaves and fronds.
All plants were rehomed to plant loving homes after the shoot!
